Properties here also tend to be larger detached villas with a lot of exterior surface: long boundary walls, substantial gates, terraces on more than one level, and pool surrounds. There's simply more of it to look after.
What we do in Cabo Roig
- Villa painting — whole-property work, inside and out
- Exterior painting — render, boundary walls and terraces
- Gates, grilles and balustrades — substantial metalwork, properly prepared
Property types here
Predominantly detached villas, many of them individually built and generously sized, alongside apartment developments closer to the marina and the strip. Multi-level terraces and elevated plots are common, which means access matters as much as materials on an exterior job.
Exposure, and what it costs you
An elevated, cliff-facing elevation gets the worst of both worlds — full sun for most of the day and salt-laden wind on top of it. In practice that means the seaward face of a Cabo Roig villa will look tired well before the inland face does.
There are two sensible responses. The first is to accept it and treat the exposed elevation as a shorter-cycle job. The second, and usually better, is to specify a more robust coating on that face from the start. Either way it should be a decision rather than a surprise, and it's the sort of thing that gets discussed at the quote.

“Phill did a fantastic job of painting the outside of our house. Carries out his work with proper care and attention.”
FAQs
Our villa is on a steep plot with terraces on two levels. Is access a problem?
It's common here and it's factored into the quote. Most of it is handled with proper access equipment rather than full scaffolding.
Can you do just the seaward elevation?
Yes, though be aware it will then be a slightly different shade to the rest until they're brought back into line. Worth discussing before deciding.
Do you paint pool surrounds and terraces?
Yes — terrace walls, pool surround walls and pool fencing are all regular work.
