How the work gets done
Most of what comes in is repainting — properties that have had a decade or more of Costa Blanca weather and have started to look tired. Villas mainly, inside and out, with a lot of gates, grilles and balustrades, because metalwork on this coast needs doing more often than anything else and plenty of people would rather not take it on.
The approach is not complicated:
Preparation is most of the job. Filling, sanding, washing down, treating rust, sealing what needs sealing. It's the unglamorous part and it's the part that decides whether the finish is still good in five years.
Materials suited to the property. What goes on a seafront balustrade at Punta Prima isn't what goes on an inland render at Benijofar. That gets decided at the property, not off a price list.
Turn up when you said you would. It sounds like a low bar. Anyone who's tried to get work done in Spain knows it isn't.
Leave it clean. Floors covered, furniture protected, waste taken away, everything back where it was.
Properly set up
Playa Flamenca Painting Services is fully registered as autónomo and fully legal in Spain. That means you're dealing with a legitimately established business rather than someone working cash-in-hand and unreachable if something needs putting right.
